Checking your DHA exam result is one of the most important moments in your DHA  licensing journey. Your DHA exam result appears in your Sheryan account as a single word, โ€œPassโ€ or โ€œFailโ€, within two working days.

DHA does not publish your score, issue a score report, or send an exam certificate. There is nothing to download at this stage. Sheryan shows a status, not a document.

The DHA Sheryan Portal usually provides a direct way to check the exam status. Candidates log in to their Sheryan account, open the exam dashboard, and view the result status as Pass, Fail, or Processing.

However, if it takes longer than 2 business days, first check your profile, and if everything seems ok, contact the DHA Customer Happiness Centers to inquire.

In this guide, we have shared the details about how to check your DHA exam result to avoid unnecessary confusion and ensure you can proceed quickly with your next step.

How to check your DHA exam result in Sheryan

To check the DHA exam result, you can use the official DHA Sheryan Portal. View your exam status as either pass or fail without individual details. Below, we provided the step-by-step process.

Process to check the DHA exam results

Steps to Check DHA Exam Results Through the Sheryan Portal

To see your DHA exam results, log in to your DHA Sheryan account using your registered username and password, or create one if you are a new user. After signing in, move to the Exam Application Dashboard to view your test details. Then, open the Exam Results section, where your status will appear as Pass, Fail, or Processing. The Step-by-Step process is

    1. Visit the DHA Sheryan portal.
    2. Log in to Your DHA Sheryan Account
    3. Under the “Exam Results” section, your result will be displayed.
    4. Youโ€™ll see either a โ€œPassโ€ or โ€œFailโ€ notification.
    5. If your exam is still being processed, the system will indicate that the result is not yet available.

How is the DHA Prometric Exam result shown?

The DHA Prometric exam result is displayed as pass or fail without any extra details of the individual report. After completing the test, the following scenarios may occur:

    1. Pass
    2. Fail

Your result will be marked as โ€œPassโ€ if you have achieved the minimum required score in your exam. This means that youโ€™ve successfully met the passing criteria for your exam and are now eligible to proceed with the licensing process.

Your result will be marked as โ€œFailโ€ if you do not achieve the required score. Unfortunately, this means you have to reappear in the exam.

That means all of the following are unavailable to you, whether you passed or failed:

  • Your numeric score or percentage
  • A section-by-section or subject-by-subject breakdown
  • A list of the topics you answered poorly
  • A downloadable score report
  • An exam certificate, in either outcome

How long does it take to receive the DHA exam result?

It takes two working days for a computer-based test and three to five working days for an oral assessment, with both results delivered through Sheryan, as per the DHA’s official document titled “Final Online Exam Guideline CBT.

This is a general timeline followed by the DHA each time, though some factors, such as high-volume periods or administrative delays, can extend it, with issues related to the processing of results in rare cases.

Other than this, check the DHA Sheryan portal or contact DHA customer support for clarification if you experience any delays.

Assessment Type Result Timeline
Computer Based Test (CBT) via Prometric Within 2 working days
Oral Assessment via DHA panel 3โ€“5 working days

Is the DHA exam result announced immediately after the test?

No, the DHA exam result is not announced immediately after the test. While you may be informed that you have passed or failed during your test at the exam center, the official result is provided only after the exam has been processed by DHA.

It is essential to note that although you may have an initial assessment of your performance immediately after the exam, the official confirmation will not be available until the results are processed.

How can you know the DHA exam result date?

The specific date for when your DHA exam result will be available is not typically announced. However, there are a few things you can do to track the status of your result:

    • Visit your account regularly for updates. Once the result is processed, you will be able to view it on your exam dashboard.
    • If you believe the result should have been released by now but you haven’t seen it posted, you can reach out to DHAโ€™s customer service for assistance.

Does the DHA exam result time differ for doctors and nurses?

Generally, the processing time for the DHA exam result does not differ between doctors, nurses, or other healthcare professionals. All candidates generally receive their results within 5 business days. The only differences you may experience are related to the passing criteria for specific roles, but the release timing remains similar.

What to do if the DHA exam result gets delayed?

Once you are past two working days on a CBT, the delay is worth investigating rather than waiting out.

  • Open your Sheryan account and look for pending tasks. An unsubmitted document or an incomplete item on your application is the most frequent cause of a result that has been generated but not released to your profile.

  • Check your registered email, including the spam folder. Confirm the address on your Sheryan profile is one you actually monitor.

  • Contact DHA support with three specific details: your application reference number, your exam date, and your test centre. Support resolves a query far faster when the reference number is in the first message.

Start with step one rather than step three. A result can be generated while your application still carries an open item, and Sheryan does not always prompt you about it, so the profile is worth checking before you queue for support.

What is the next step after passing your Prometric Exam result?

Once you have successfully passed your DHA Prometric exam, the next step is getting your professional license. For that, you will first need to get a Professional Registration Certificate (eligibility letter), which is issued via the DHA Sheryan portal after passing the exam, certifying that you are eligible to apply for a DHA professional license.

Once you get the Professional Registration Certificate (commonly known as eligibility letter), you have to submit all necessary documents through the DHA portal, including your professional registration certificate, passport copy, educational certificates, and employment confirmation from your DHA-approved employer.

After submitting your documents, pay the required licensing fees online through the Sheryan portal. At the end, you will receive your DHA professional license, allowing you to practice in Dubai legally.

Can you get a DHA professional license after passing the test?

Yes, you can take the DHA Prometric exam, which is the first step in obtaining a DHA professional license. After you pass, you must complete additional steps like securing employment with a DHA-approved healthcare provider and submitting necessary documentation before you can officially receive your professional license.

What is the validity period of the DHA Exam result?

The DHA exam result is valid for one year from the date of issuance. This means you must complete the licensing process within one year of passing the exam. After one year, your exam result will expire, and you may be required to retake the DHA Prometric exam to qualify for a license.

What is the next step after failing your Prometric Exam?

If you fail the DHA Prometric exam, you must take a few steps to improve your chances of passing on the next attempt:

Review Your Performance

Take the time to analyze the areas where you did not perform well. Focus on these areas in your study materials and practice tests to improve your understanding.

Prepare Thoroughly

To increase your chances of passing the next time, consider enrolling in preparatory courses, utilizing online resources, and engaging in practice tests to improve your knowledge.

Retake the Exam

You are allowed to retake the DHA Prometric exam up to three times. If you have failed in all three attempts, you may not be eligible for the test; however, some medical categories will need to provide additional proof of training or qualifications to reapply.

What is the passing criteria for the DHA Exam?

Sheryan login problems when checking your DHA exam result

Most people who cannot see their result are not facing a technical fault. In almost every case it is one of the following four situations.

  1. You are in the wrong area of the portal. The result sits in the professional section of Sheryan, under your own application, not in the facility area and not on the public pages.
  2. You are signing in with the wrong account. Use the account you created when you applied for the Professional Registration Certificate (eligibility letter). Creating a second account does not give you access to the first application.
  3. The result is simply not there yet. The status has to be transferred from the exam provider before it appears. Refreshing every hour on the day of the exam will not speed this up.
  4. Your application status is blocking the view. If documents are still pending or the file was returned for correction, the result screen can stay empty until the file is active again.

If none of the four applies and the status is still missing well beyond the usual two working days, contact DHA through the Sheryan support channel with your application number rather than starting a new application.
